Role Overview
We’re looking for a VP Marketing to build and lead Grain’s marketing function at a critical stage of growth.
You’ll take full ownership of marketing - defining the strategy, strengthening execution, and building a scalable engine that drives brand, pipeline, and revenue.
This is a highly strategic role with strong hands-on components, working closely with leadership, product, and sales to define how Grain positions itself and wins in the market.
We’re looking for a true builder,someone who knows how to create structure from the ground up, while scaling what already exists into a high-performing, measurable function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Grain’s end-to-end marketing strategy, aligned with business and growth goals
- Build and drive a marketing engine that directly contributes to pipeline and revenue
- Partner closely with Product and Sales on GTM strategy and product launches
- Define and sharpen Grain’s positioning, messaging, and overall narrative
- Lead brand presence and awareness through content, storytelling, and strategic initiatives
- Lead PR and communications efforts, including agency management and thought leadership
- Drive growth initiatives to support customer acquisition and demand generation
- Use data and analytics to measure performance, optimize efforts, and demonstrate impact
- Build, manage, and scale the marketing team and external partners
- Establish processes, frameworks, and infrastructure to support long-term growth
Qualifications
- Experience building and leading a marketing function in a high-growth company (Head / Director / VP level)
- Background in fintech, financial products, or B2B SaaS – must!
- Experience marketing complex, technical, or multi-stakeholder products
- Native-level English – must
- Proven ability to drive measurable business impact (pipeline, revenue, growth)
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
- Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics tools
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
