Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) Oil & Gas to drive business growth, develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing partnerships. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong network within the oil and gas sector, and a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's footprint in the oil and gas sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and decision-makers in the industry.
- Lead sales and tendering processes, including contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets through effective pipeline management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
- Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and updates to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5-10 years
of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the oil and gas industry. - Strong understanding of oil and gas market dynamics, trends, and regulations.
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing network of industry contacts and decision-makers.
- Experience in project management and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with CRM software and business development tools.
