Location: UK (Flexible/Home-Based) – you can be based anywhere in the UK with travel across the UK (Manchester, Liverpool, London, Bristol, Leeds, Yorkshire, London, Derby, Midlands, Birmingham, Cambridge, Bath, Oxford, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cumbria, Sheffield, Nottingham)
Territory: UK & Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland)
Package: Salary up to £90,000 + 20% Bonus (rising to 40%) + Benefits
Industrial Technologies: Electric motors, drives, motion control systems, fans and blowers, industrial automation, machine tools, automotive systems, and energy-efficient technologies.

The Role

Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Business Development Managers while driving growth across key strategic markets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing growth strategies across the UK and Nordic regions.
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers.
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities within HVAC and related industrial sectors.
  • Building relationships with OEMs, consultants, distributors, integrators, and end user customers.
  • Driving market penetration and increasing brand presence across target sectors.
  • Working closely with product management, engineering, and international commercial teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Delivering against revenue, profitability, and business growth objectives.

About You

We are looking for a commercially driven leader with a strong technical sales or business development background within industrial technology such as motors, drives or controls and HVAC related markets.

Your background

  • Proven experience leading commercial, sales, or business development teams.
  • A strong background in HVAC and Drives, Motors or Controls
  • Experience developing business across complex OEM sales environments.
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regions would be advantageous.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to driving results.
