About the Role
The HR Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations and helps deliver a positive employee experience. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $45,000-$50,000/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Support employee file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Track and update employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers) in HRIS systems
- Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining records
- Monitor and follow up on required employee documentation (e.g., certifications, SIN numbers, work permits)
- Ensure compliance with document retention policies and audit requirements
- Generate regular and ad hoc HR reports for leadership as needed
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment on HR processes and employee needs
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience
- Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- Working knowledge of HR principles and employment standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is an asset
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
