Essential Job Functions 1. Provides advising, registration assistance, and assistance in accessing and navigating institutional requirements to current students. 2. Provides career advising to assist students in choosing a career pathway. 3. Plan and implement retention and completion activities. 4. Inform and referring students to other institutional resources as needed (counseling, tutoring, career services, etc.) 5. Perform related duties as required or deemed necessary to meet program advising goals. 6. Demonstrate continued knowledge of institutional changes including new programs, course changes, important dates, costs, and updates in university-wide initiatives and polices. Additional Job Functions: 1. Assist with graduation application process and commencement activities. 2. Serve as a liaison and foster intentional relationships with other advisors, offices, and departments.
