Position Summary
We are seeking a data oriented and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our Canadian Marketing team. This role supports website growth by analyzing performance, building reporting, and executing optimizations to improve traffic, conversion, and revenue.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with website performance data to identify opportunities and drive improvements. They are a proactive problem solver who can translate insights into actionable initiatives, execute on them directly, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable business results.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze website performance, user behavior, and conversion funnels to identify opportunities for revenue optimization
- Turn insights into actionable optimization initiatives, including content improvements, website enhancements, and SEO opportunities.
- Build and maintain reporting to track key website and business performance metrics.
- Write, build, and launch website content and landing pages to support optimization efforts.
- Design, execute, and measure A/B tests, and other optimization initiatives, using results to inform future improvements.
- Manage website content launches and updates through the CMS
- Communicate insights, results, and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Partner with Content, Creative, Product and Development teams to execute initiatives, build strong cross-functional relationships, and align efforts with business goals.
Position Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Analytics or a related field.
- 2-4 years of prior digital marketing, web performance, growth or analytics role.
- Experience using Google Analytics to identify performance issues and growth opportunities.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to proactively identify issues and opportunities.
- Experience with website content and landing pages in a CMS environment.
- Experience with website research tools such as Semrush or Similarweb
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests using platforms such as Optimizely.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
Nice to Have:
- Experience implementing custom tracking solutions using tools such as Google Tag Manager in partnership with development teams.
- Familiarity with AI-driven growth concepts, including AI Optimization (AIO) and generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Bilingualism in French and English
- Experience in automotive industry.
Compensation
At CARFAX Canada, we believe in fair, transparent, and equitable compensation. This role has an annual salary range of $60,500 - $83,000 CAD.
