  • Provide legal analysis and practical guidance on technology-related laws and regulations, including data protection topics and regulatory compliance matters;
  • Support corporate legal matters for the legal entities in DACH (corporate governance documentation and internal procedures);
  • Act as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders, enabling business objectives while assessing and managing legal risk;
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions, assess their impact on the business, and recommend appropriate actions;
  • Draft and update contract templates and internal policies;
  • Maintain accurate and well-structured legal documentation (contract repository, templates and compliance records) to support transparency and audit readiness;
  • Provide legal support for internal company and group wide projects (i.e. on data privacy, AI-related topics);
  • Provide regular communication and updates to the management board and the Team Lead of Legal;
  • Coordination with external counsel and notaries when required.

Your Qualifications:

  • At least a passed first state exam (Germany) or comparable qualifications;
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at an IT-service provider or a law firm specialising in IT law;
  • In-depth knowledge of IT law (especially data privacy), contract and commercial law;
  • Knowledge of labour law is a plus;
  • Ability to independently interpret complex legal issues, identify and analyse legal requirements and risks, and translate them into practical business-oriented guidance for non-legal stakeholders (Business, Delivery, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.);
  • Ability to independently advise stakeholders in a pragmatic, risk-based manner within an international business environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment;
  • Fluency in German and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience advising on GDPR/privacy compliance, information security, or technology regulation;
  • Experience developing or enhancing contract templates or contract lifecycle management processes;
  • Exposure to IT consulting, software and technology services.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to take ownership of high-impact legal work in a technology-driven, international business environment;
  • Close collaboration with business stakeholders, with meaningful responsibility and visibility across cross-border matters;
  • Broad involvement in cross-border legal matters across DACH and selected CEE jurisdictions.
  • A high level of autonomy and ownership;
  • Opportunity to shape legal templates, processes, and compliance practices;
  • Hybrid working environment and international collaboration.
