Description
Restaurant Depot takes pride in its exceptional, dedicated customer service team. We are currently seeking a candidate with excellent communication and problem-solving skills for the position of Online Chat Support. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers have the best experience possible, by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time assistance to our customers via the online chat platform. This includes answering their inquiries about our products, their accounts, or any other service-related questions they might have.
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction. Use your product knowledge to provide appropriate solutions.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and scripts to remain consistent in delivery of service.
- Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, ensuring resolution to maintain trust.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments when necessary to resolve customer queries.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents as per the company’s set standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven customer support experience or experience in a similar role, ideally in a restaurant or food service-related field.
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is preferable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to type swiftly and accurately.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Must be able to handle pressure during peak hours or high demand.
- A high degree of patience when dealing with complex customer issues.
