Position: Technical Specialist

Type of Hiring: Permanent

Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday Friday)

As a Technical Specialist supporting Sales for Distribution Automation, Protection, and Control systems, your role involves a combination of technical expertise and customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Distribution Automation, Protection, and Control systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients.
• Assist in creating technical proposals and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical requirements.
• Address technical queries and concerns from clients promptly.
• Conduct training sessions for sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge.
• Develop training materials and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with product development and engineering teams to convey customer needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and support, to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and benefits.
• Customize demonstrations based on specific customer needs and challenges.
• Assist in project management activities related to the implementation of Distribution Automation systems.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Have over 5 years of experience with RTUs, Wireless, and SCADA systems.
• Solid understanding of Distribution Automation, Protection, and Control systems.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
• Understanding of the sales process and ability to support sales activities effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic project management skills to assist in overseeing projects.
• Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent command of Written and Spoken English.
