Support Integration Specialist​ (Tech Pubs Integration)

The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated Support Integration Specialist (Tech Pubs Integration) to oversee and guide a team of logistics integrators across multiple sites.

This role involves managing and integrating product and program lifecycle support activities, including support requirements and definitions, statement of work breakdown, reports, master schedule, program implementation and integration plans. You will coordinate and gather data for estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts. This position requires that you develop process and coordinates activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.  In this role, you will conduct presentations, status reviews, and monitor execution of support programs.  You will also review program and engineering change proposals and assess product support impact.  This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in integrated logistics support and program management to contribute to complex aerospace programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies, to ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

  • Manage and monitor support engineering data development.

  • Ensure technical excellence of all work associated with Integrated Logistics Support contracted requirements and deliverables.

  • Establishes support requirements, costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work breakdown, reports, master schedule, program implementation and integration plans in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.  Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

  • Develop processes and coordinates activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.

  • Reviews program and engineering change proposals and assesses product support impact.

  • Participates in or conducts customer technical and program reviews.

  • Develops technical publication project plan, budget and baseline schedules.

  • Direct and monitor writers and technical data development at the program level to ensure data is developed and delivered on schedule and in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience working with military or commercial derivative aircraft.

  • 5+ years’ experience leading technical publication activities/statements of work on Commercial Military Derivative Aircraft or Commercial Airplane Program.

  • Experience advising a work unit regarding tasks, projects and operations.

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work in a cross functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Current or past EVM Silver Medallion certified.

  • Experience with organizing, planning, facilitating and executing customer logistics.

  • Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • 3+ years' experience authoring commercial or military format technical publications.

  • 2+ years' experience working with military customers.
