Lead a team of analysts in ensuring the
portfolio reporting/shaping agenda is clearly defined, optimised and
effectively executed within a robust control framework and aligned to relevant
policy and legislation.

Responsiblities include:

Assist in
defining, optimising and implementing the Profitability framework

Assist in
defining, optimising and implementing the Portfolio reporting framework and
stakeholder engagement

Ensure
the continuous improvement of the portfolio management and profitability models
and methodologies, trend analysis and forecasting techniques applied to manage
risks/opportunities

Act as a
representative in forums, weekly and/or monthly meetings and enterprise project
initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally and managing stakeholders across
the business and shareholders

As a
credible and respected expert within a sub-discipline of Portfolio Management
and Profitability, generate ideas and offer unique perspectives to optimise
complex processes, systems and disciplines

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, CA(SA) or related field
• 5 years Financial Accounting or Credit Risk experience in a Senior Role
• Exposure to the financial drivers on the incomce statement and impairment levers
• Experience in working with profit modelling and a solid commercial understanding of financial services
• Experience in working in an outsourced environment and effectively implementing solutions both internal and external resources
• Experience in data cleaning and analysing large sets of data using SQL or similar environment
• People management
