Master Data Analyst
Performs master data creation and maintenance of processes for Items, Customers, and some ERP configuration settings. Ensures that all requests for master data changes are handled in accordance with business rules approval requirements. Proactively reviews company master data for cleanliness and leverages the available toolset to identify and resolve discrepancies.
45%: Data Management - Develop, implement, and maintain master data management processes and standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization. Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data, ensuring it meets business requirements and regulatory standards. Create and maintain Customer and Product data.
20%: Data Analysis and Reporting - Analyze master data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate and distribute regular reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.
20%: Data Quality Assurance - Conduct regular data quality audits and implement corrective actions to address data discrepancies. Develop and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards to monitor and improve data quality over time. Work with business partners to resolve discrepancies in Customer and Product data IE: Duplicate resolution and missing data points.
10%: Documentation and Training – Assist with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation of master data management processes, policies, and procedures. Conduct training sessions for staff to ensure understanding and adherence to data management standards.
5%: Master Data Conversion Activities - Assist with master data conversion activities during acquisitions and greenfield projects, ensuring seamless integration and consistency of data. Leverage tools for data cleansing and loading to ensure newly onboarded data meets company requirements and standards.
4+ years’ experience in Data Management 4+ years’ experience in Data Governance
· Working knowledge of ERP systems and data management/governance. EX: DMSi Agility, Oracle
· Working knowledge of building materials, supply chain and product management.
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology.
· Proficiency with T-SQL helpful.
·Working knowledge of Power Platform to create canvas apps and workflow
· Oracle Cloud Fusion Experience preferred
