Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide to help meet evolving consumer needs by enabling agile teams to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that prioritise customer value, continuous feedback, and innovation at every stage of the product lifecycle.

As a Delivery Manager, you will lead and oversee the planning and delivery of multiple digital product streams including mobile applications, conversational AI and customer servicing. You will ensure alignment with strategic priorities and delivery of measurable business outcomes.

This role oversees portfolio planning, resource management and agile delivery practices to ensure a culture of continuous improvement. You will be accountable for embedding delivery frameworks, uplifting ways of working and coaching a team of iteration managers to improve delivery predictability, squad efficiency and performance.

This is a unique opportunity to play an instrumental role in shaping culture, ways of working and support squad ramp-up at the new Qantas Product Innovation Centre based in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in complex environments, balancing delivery discipline with adaptability. You take ownership, are accountable for outcomes and excel at engaging stakeholders across all levels.

You’ll have:

  • 7+ years’ experience leading delivery teams in agile, product-led environments with a proven ability to deliver outcomes in complex, fast-paced settings
  • Excellent people leadership, coaching delivery leaders and building high-performing, accountable teams
  • Extensive experience leading digital product delivery from discovery through to release ensuring alignment to customer value and business priorities
  • Expertise in embedding agile practices and ways of working, improving predictability, flow and alignment
  • Strong delivery management capability, including comprehensive planning, budgeting, scope control and consistent on-time delivery across squads
  • Demonstrated delivery governance expertise, overseeing cross-portfolio planning, RAID discipline and dependency management to ensure predictable delivery outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence senior leaders across product, technology and business
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly adapt to new contexts and technologies
  • Ability to simplify complex delivery environments bringing clarity through structured planning and decision-making
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary squads fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Experience building cultures of innovation and learning, supporting individuals and squads to experiment and grow
  • Prior experience leading quarterly planning cycles, including cross-portfolio alignment and dependency management, will be highly regarded
