Description
_Words power industries. Yours could power the energy sector._
At **The Energy Year**, we turn complex global energy conversations into sharp, compelling content read by industry leaders across the world. Now we’re looking for a **Digital Content Editor** who can do the same.
This role is for someone who enjoys shaping ideas as much as sentences. Someone who can spot a weak paragraph from across the room, rewrite it in five minutes, and still have time to suggest a stronger headline.
## Tasks
**What you’ll do**
* Edit and refine interviews, articles, and industry insights for clarity, impact, and voice
* Manage and optimize web content across our digital platforms
* Collaborate with international teams producing country-focused energy reports
* Turn dense industry material into engaging, readable narratives
* Ensure every piece of content meets our editorial standards (and then raise the bar)
## Requirements
**Who you are**
* A sharp editor with excellent command of English
* Fast-thinking, curious, and intellectually agile
* Comfortable working with complex topics and simplifying them without losing depth
* Someone who believes good writing is both craft and strategy
* The kind of person who reads a paragraph and instantly thinks: “This could be better.”
## Benefits
**Why join us**
* Work at the intersection of journalism, global energy, and business intelligence
* Collaborate with an international editorial team
* Help shape content read by decision-makers across the energy industry
* Be part of a company that believes strong ideas deserve strong writing
If you’re the type who can **tighten a sentence, sharpen an argument, and improve a headline before the coffee gets cold**, we’d like to hear from you.
**Apply now and show us how you think with words. Send us your cv.**
