Job Summary: The Sales Executive will be spearheading the lubricant market segment in the country to ensure effective & profitable growth. The role requires a candidate with extensive trade management experience, particularly in the lubricants field due to the chemical nature of these products. The Sales Executive will be responsible for close coordination with the Sales Manager and specifically managing, in respect of lubricants and related products and services, the full scope of activities necessary for ensuring the movement of the products with the appropriate tech specs through the trade channels – B2B and B2C. This includes but is not limited assessing and analysing the specific product requirements, overseeing technical support to all consumers, identifying and developing new opportunities in the trade segments, and growth of lubricants in the country and in exports. Job Responsibilities: Maintaining process integrity in setting up new customers with regards to full documentation. This includes the process for customer credit application forms. Analyse and provide relevant information pertaining to competitors in the market. Monitoring portfolio credit terms and managing client collections accordingly. Resolving Customer grievances in terms of product inquiries, supply issues, quality and technical queries. Assisting in all marketing and sales promotion activities. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, personal networks, social media, etc. Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences. Analysing, recommending solutions and monitoring the performance and maintenance of lubrication equipment at customer sites. Conducting technical trainings for customers and prospects. Conducting & coordinating testimonials and field tests/trials at customer/prospects locations for new / existing products with the aim of acquiring new business or switching customers to new and higher performance products. Advising the Sales Manager of any market/customer changes affecting monthly sales forecasts, blending and importation of lubricants. Ensuring HSEQ policy implementation and compliance at customer locations. Technology and quality stewardship for overall lubes product range in Tanzania. Analysing the technical needs of customers and advising them on the appropriate products and services; prospecting on product recommendations based on lubrication surveys. In conjunction with tech team, interpreting oil analysis lab reports and advising customers accordingly. Attend regular trainings to improve knowledge and skills. Requirements Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business &/or Sales. Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a sales executive role. Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the Lubricants Industry Excellent verbal and written communication. Ensure the integrity of the management required reports. Have good inter-personal skills. Have good negotiation skills. Strong attention to integrity and accuracy of market information. Should be a self-motivated and goal oriented individual. Deadline driven individual. Ability to maintain effective working relationships, with a wide range of stakeholders. High level communication skills, including the provision of advice on a range of lubricant related matters The ability to work as part of a team. Excellent analytical and numerical abilities MS office fluency
