Salary

$77,567.58 – $99,858.74

Position Summary

The Compensation & HRIS Specialist has overall accountability on payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of pay, while meeting all legislative requirements. Additionally, the Specialist provides oversight to our benefits programs. The position is also responsible for the maintenance and operations of the HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Payroll Management.
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required.
  • Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in a similar role with 1+ year of experience in leading others.
  • Experience managing benefits and working with a defined benefit pension regime, using an HRIS (Dayforce), and aggregating and analyzing data for trends and creating reports is required.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered as appropriate.

Candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background check before an offer of employment may be made. Proof of education is required.
