We are hiring a General Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations. The role will manage reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and cash movements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Egyptian tax regulations. The ideal candidate must have previous accounting experience within the tourism and travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions.
• 
  Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• 
  Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• 
  Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• 
  Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• 
  Handle supplier settlements, customer accounts, and tourism package costing.
• 
  Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, VAT, and withholding tax.
• 
  Coordinate with operations, sales, suppliers, and management on financial matters.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 
  3–5 years of accounting experience within the tourism and travel industry.
• 
  Experience with travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, airlines, hospitality, or religious tourism companies.
• 
  Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
• 
  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• 
  Experience using ERP and accounting systems.
• 
  Good to very good command of English.
• 
  High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• 
  Availability to work full-time on-site in El Sheikh Zayed City.
