Senior Test Engineer, Industrial Engineering (IE)

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for Test Conceptual design, Test Development, Test Implementation and Test Release to production during Product Engineering Process (PEP) and Product Transfer Process (PTP) projects for new products introduction, meeting timeline, quality and cost
• Lead Significant Improvement Projects (SIP) to improve productivity, savings and solve recurring production issues
• Participate & implement Technology Work Packages at SEA regional level
• Lead and implement Industrialization of new products and improvement as an Expert Test Engineer in Automated Electrical Functional Testing

Major Accountabilities:

• Industrialize new products during Product Engineering Process (PEP) or transfer products between locations (PTP)
• Plan the budget, select, buy, install Test System, Test Adaptors, Test Fixtures, Develop Test Program and release to production for New Products and Transfer Products
• Responsible to lead in SIP / CIP- Projects to improve productivity, savings, and solve systematic, recurring production issued on demand
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, responsible for, but not limited to implementing new Test equipment (FAT/SAT) with Technology Development department in Technology Project Work Packages
• Act as Local Product counterpart for Production & BU/IU, responsible for, but not limited to summarize, report & do structure problem solving to solve product / test issues during PEP / PTP / SIP projects
• Discuss product design concept during PEP / PTP project, enforce product-related Test design rule and lead Customer Application (CA) projects from End-to-End, solving Test and build related issues

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics / Automation or equivalent education. Master Degree is an added advantage
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing with at least 5 years in Test Engineering, Test Development environment
• Candidates coming from industrial electronics products / industrial sensors products are highly regarded
• Experienced in Test System, Test Adaptors, Test Program Development / Maintenance. C/C++ programming language is crucial for the success for the person in this role
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive, independent, analytical thinking and good negotiations skills
