Position: Business Development Specialist
Number of hours: 26 hours/week
Schedule: UK Timezone
Key Responsibilities
Identify, research, and engage prospective investors, capital allocators, and strategic partners through LinkedIn, email, and other outreach channels.
Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to source, qualify, and connect with high-value prospects and decision-makers.
Generate and schedule qualified meetings between prospective investors and the client’s leadership team.
Manage prospect pipelines, outreach activities, and engagement tracking within CRM platforms.
Develop personalized outreach campaigns and follow-up strategies to increase response and conversion rates.
Conduct market research to identify new investor opportunities and support business development initiatives.
Build and maintain professional relationships with executives, investors, and senior stakeholders.
Consistently meet or exceed appointment-setting and pipeline generation targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Business Development, Appointment Setting, Lead Generation, Investor Relations, or a related B2B sales role.
Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, including prospect sourcing, lead qualification, and outreach campaign execution.
Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, or similar systems.
Experience within financial services, investment management, private equity, venture capital, or investor relations is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated success in generating qualified meetings and developing sales pipelines through outbound prospecting.
Comfortable engaging and building relationships with executives, investors, founders, and senior decision-makers.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality outreach and engagement standards.
Success Metric
Primary focus is to generate qualified meetings with prospective investors and capital allocators, contributing directly to business growth and fundraising objectives.
