We're Mighty Ape - New Zealand's favourite online retailer - and we're looking for a marketing powerhouse to own our promotions game. As our Marketing Promotions Manager, you'll lead a team of 3-4 talented Coordinators and be the driving force behind integrated campaigns across email, social, web, mobile, and SMS. You'll also take ownership of our Shopify brands (Boardgamer, Toy Titans & Gorilla Gaming), shaping strategy, creative direction, and execution from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's equally comfortable in the detail and the big picture - a creative thinker with commercial edge and a genuine passion for building great teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end campaigns - Email, social, web, SMS & mobile, from brief to final execution

• Manage Shopify brands - Strategy & creative for Boardgamer, Toy Titans & Gorilla Gaming

• Lead & grow your team - Coach 3+ Coordinators to do their best work every day

• Report on performance - Turn campaign data into clear insights and smart recommendations

• Shape brand & content - Keep all assets on-brand with a sharp creative eye

• Collaborate cross-team - Marketing, Buying, Design, Social, you're the connector

• 3–5 years of marketing experience in ecommerce, retail or digital

• Proven experience in a leadership position

• A track record of managing campaigns end-to-end - strategy, execution, and reporting

• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite or Canva with an excellent eye for design

• Strong social media and SEO knowledge, with great copywriting instincts
