Description
Key Responsibilities
Client Instruction Handling and Servicing
- Receive, verify and prepare client instructions in line with internal procedures, including checking authorisations, completing internal forms and obtaining required internal signatures.
- Initiate and input client transactions into the banking systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness of data and proper handling of SAS alerts.
- Collect and process client instructions related to corporate action events, coordinating with relevant internal teams.
- Maintain and regularly update client files, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements; record activity reports in the system where necessary.
- Follow up on pending items and open issues, escalating where required to ensure timely resolution.
- Act as a point of contact on behalf of the IAM Desk for other departments for troubleshooting, information requests and operational queries.
- Act as an alternative contact to the CRO for clients (e.g. responding to calls, participating in meetings) to ensure continuity of service.
Monitoring and Control Activities
- Perform daily and monthly credit monitoring, including review of limit excesses, collateral excesses, overdrafts, risk concentrations and significant losses, and escalate in line with internal guidelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring of operational quality, including deposit renewals, pending orders, MiFID profile reviews and negative cash balance checks, and coordinate corrective actions with CROs and relevant departments.
- Execute annual risk monitoring activities, including reviews of dormant accounts, hold-mail accounts, small balance accounts and client claims, ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-up.
Professional Experience and Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within private banking or wealth management.
- Good knowledge of financial products and the broader financial services environment.
- Solid understanding of private banking processes, front-to-back workflows and the client lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Greek and English.
