Role Overview
We are seeking a competent, results driven, and client focused Senior Sales Executive, Institutional Sales to support business growth, institutional client acquisition, and corporate relationship management within the logistics industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with institutional and corporate customers, identifying new business opportunities, conducting sales presentations, negotiating deals, and achieving revenue targets. This role is ideal for a sales professional with strong institutional sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build long term business relationships across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Institutional Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the institutional client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential institutional and corporate clients.
- Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, market research, and client engagement activities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and follow up consistently to convert opportunities into business.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at institutional clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide suitable business solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to strengthen trust and long term engagement.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through professional service and timely follow up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional client service and support.
Sales Presentations and Product Demonstrations
- Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to institutional clients.
- Clearly communicate product benefits, service value, and commercial advantages.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales related documents when required.
- Support client discussions by presenting solutions confidently and professionally.
Negotiation and Deal Closure
Negotiate with clients to secure profitable and sustainable business agreements.
Close sales deals while ensuring profitability and revenue target achievement.
Follow up on proposals and pending opportunities to support timely conversions.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as an institutional salesperson.
- Experience in institutional sales, corporate sales, B2B sales, logistics sales, or industrial sales will be an added advantage.
- Recognized professional qualification in Marketing and Sales.
- Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Results driven, confident, and target oriented personality.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage corporate
- customers professionally.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams.
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, and customer focus.
