Job Description: Senior SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP SD module implementations, configurations, and integrations. As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you will lead SAP projects, collaborate with business stakeholders, and design solutions that optimize sales and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP SD Implementation: Lead full-cycle implementations and rollouts of SAP SD modules, including system configuration, customization, and deployment.
• Business Process Analysis:
  Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and document sales and distribution processes, identifying areas for improvement and translating them into SAP SD solutions.
• System Configuration: Configure the SAP SD module to meet business requirements, including pricing, order management, billing, credit management, and shipping processes.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, PP, FI/CO) and external systems to support end-to-end business processes.
• Customization: Develop and manage custom solutions to handle complex business requirements and processes, ensuring system flexibility and scalability.
• Testing & Validation: Oversee and conduct testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing) to validate the solution's functionality.
• Post-Implementation Support:
  Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD-related issues, ensuring smooth operations post-go-live.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, processes, and project deliverables.
• User Training & Knowledge Transfer: Conduct end-user training and ensure knowledge transfer to both clients and internal teams for effective use of the SAP SD system.
• Project Leadership: Manage SAP SD project deliverables, timelines, and team resources to ensure successful implementation within scope and budget.

Requirements:

• Experience Level: Senior (8+ years of SAP SD experience).
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP SD module, including order management, pricing, billing, credit management, and shipping.
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, PP, FI/CO).
• Proven experience in leading SAP SD implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
• Expertise in end-to-end order-to-cash (OTC) processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD implementations is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders, including business users and technical teams.
• Experience with SAP configuration tools, pricing procedures, and billing scenarios.
• SAP SD certification is preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps.
• Knowledge of EDI and IDocs for electronic data interchange with external partners.
• Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, automotive, or consumer goods.
• Knowledge of ABAP for debugging or custom development.
• Experience in working with agile methodologies.
