We are actively looking for a Accounting Analyst to join our Bogota office. As part of the Accounting Group, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

• General Ledger:
  • Prepare the financial records for the countries assigned by the Accounting manager LATAM
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled or cleared monthly
  • Perform and maintain general ledger account reconciliations
  • Compose Misc. Journal Entries
  • Reconcile and clear suspense accounts
• Reconciliation with third parties:
  • Reconcile M&N financials with the local financial statements provided by the Outsourcing in each country. Ensure that the Reconciliation parties were eliminated with the necessary adjustments / reclassifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field required
• Experience: 1 year public or private accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office (emphasis on Excel and Word).
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Availability and willingness to travel
• Bi-lingual / multi-lingual desired
• All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Working conditions:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
