Senior Project Manager

We are partnering with a specialized software engineering company focused on building custom, large-scale digital solutions tailored to real-world needs, primarily within the public sector.

This role is ideal for experienced Project Managers who can lead complex, multi-team software delivery, ensuring alignment between engineering, stakeholders, and business goals.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of software projects, coordinating across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA teams.

You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at high quality, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Own full project lifecycle: scope, planning, timelines, resources, and risk management
• 
  Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• 
  Act as the main point of contact between engineering teams and stakeholders
• 
  Conduct and support business analysis processes
• 
  Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers — and drive resolution
• 
  Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and project communication
• 
  Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams (web, mobile, backend, QA)
• 
  Manage third-party vendors or external partners where needed
• 
  Remove impediments and support team productivity
• 
  Contribute to process improvements and delivery optimization
• 
  Track KPIs and ensure post-project learnings are captured

Required Profile

• 
  5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally in software/IT environments
• 
  Proven track record of managing complex, multi-team projects
• 
  Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (Kanban is a plus)
• 
  Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
• 
  Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello
• 
  Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• 
  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams

Nice to Have

• 
  Background in software development or IT (developer, analyst, tech lead)
• 
  Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and release processes
• 
  Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/PSM
• 
  Experience managing both web and mobile projects
• 
  Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure and enterprise environments
