Description
Role
- Analyze and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Lead and coordinate technical support activities alongside sales initiatives within the Thermal Segment.
- Manage the preparation and completion of technical project documentation in collaboration with the project team, including quality procedures, technical drawings, and related materials.
- Coordinate project stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration under the guidance of the Account Manager.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Project Sales division.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and expansion of new product offerings within the range.
- Review customer specifications, identify critical requirements, assess project scope, and determine technical feasibility.
- Define refractory designs, select appropriate products, and develop lining compositions in accordance with technical specifications.
- Coordinate with procurement teams and external suppliers when required.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Review technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BoM) or coordinate their preparation through the Calderys design offices.
- Oversee the completion of technical, quality, and project-related documentation.
- Participate in customer negotiations, project review meetings, and project close-out discussions as part of the sales team.
- Conduct and participate in quality inspections at client facilities, Calderys workshops, and subcontractor sites.
- Supervise and evaluate product installations at customer sites, including the preparation of site visit and technical analysis reports.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of refractories and/or industrial customer processes within sectors such as Cement, Petrochemical, Incineration, and Boilers.
- Understanding of lining design principles and installation methods.
- Proficiency in industrial drafting and design software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Ability to work effectively within both commercial and technical teams.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard web-based tools.
- Fluent in English.
