Description

Role

  • Analyze and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate technical support activities alongside sales initiatives within the Thermal Segment.
  • Manage the preparation and completion of technical project documentation in collaboration with the project team, including quality procedures, technical drawings, and related materials.
  • Coordinate project stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration under the guidance of the Account Manager.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Project Sales division.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and expansion of new product offerings within the range.
  • Review customer specifications, identify critical requirements, assess project scope, and determine technical feasibility.
  • Define refractory designs, select appropriate products, and develop lining compositions in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and external suppliers when required.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Review technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BoM) or coordinate their preparation through the Calderys design offices.
  • Oversee the completion of technical, quality, and project-related documentation.
  • Participate in customer negotiations, project review meetings, and project close-out discussions as part of the sales team.
  • Conduct and participate in quality inspections at client facilities, Calderys workshops, and subcontractor sites.
  • Supervise and evaluate product installations at customer sites, including the preparation of site visit and technical analysis reports.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of refractories and/or industrial customer processes within sectors such as Cement, Petrochemical, Incineration, and Boilers.
  • Understanding of lining design principles and installation methods.
  • Proficiency in industrial drafting and design software, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work effectively within both commercial and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard web-based tools.
  • Fluent in English.
