Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and collaborating closely with the Assistant Dean for Career Opportunities, the Director of Bar Success, and the Director of the Academic Achievement Program, the Enterprise Data Analyst will, among other functions, (1) compile and integrate data from various institutional sources; (2) design, develop, and leverage existing and new data collection tools; (3) organize, visualize, and analyze data; and (4) produce relevant reports.
Essential Functions
- Compile and integrate data from various institutional sources, including data bearing on bar passage, employment, and other areas bearing on accreditation and institutional strategy.
- Design, develop, and leverage existing and new data collection tools.
- Organize, visualize, and analyze data by leveraging the capacities of Excel, Tableau, and other information management tools.
- Produce relevant reports, including reports designed for submission to the American Bar Association, U.S. News & World Report, donors, and others.
- Participate in project meetings related to data compilation, analysis, and management.
- Undertake other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proficiency with data information systems relevant to the law school’s operations.
- Ability to assemble, visualize, and analyze data
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- A strong compliance orientation
- Experience identifying and customizing technological solutions in a work setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Symplicity CSM
- Experience working in a higher education setting
- A postbaccalaureate degree
Working Environment
- Standard office environment.
- Unexpected interruptions occur often and stress level is moderate to high.
- Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities
- Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally required to move about the office/campus.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 10.
Salary Rate:
The salary rate for this position is $65,000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
