Description

The Support Officer plays a key role in delivering high-quality, person centered support to residents living within supported accommodation. The support officer will work closely with individuals to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes, whilst maintaining a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. The Support Officer will be responsible for building positive professional relationships with residents and providing practical and emotional support to help them achieve their goals. This includes supporting residents with life skills, budgeting, maintaining accommodation, accessing education, training, employment opportunities, healthcare services, and engaging with the wider community. The role requires a proactive and compassionate approach, encouraging residents to develop confidence, resilience, and the skills necessary to sustain independent living. The Support Officer will undertake regular key work sessions, contribute to support planning and risk management, and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with organisational policies and procedures.
