• Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts
• Apportions costs between units of production and management
• Consolidates cost of manufacturing for payroll and distribution of inventory accounts
• Determines per-unit cost through cost accounting methods
• Prepares costing sheets (landed cost) for Foreign Purchase Orders
• Manages insurance files (PAR) and related monthly declarations
• Reviews costs and takes corrective actions to ensure profitability
• Analyzes overall plant efficiency, effectiveness, and utilization
• Performs monthly closing activities related to cost accounting, including cost statements and analysis
• Monitors inventory transactions and reconciles accounts with the general ledger
• Prepares monthly journal entries as required
• Leads and manages inventory review processes
• Develops monthly financial and operational reports for executive leadership
• Provides management with insights on pricing and profitability factors
• Analyzes financial results to support strategic decision-making
• Performs provision and analysis for quarantine items (inventory and capex)
• Initiates, plans, executes, monitors, and closes projects effectively
• Develops and implements project metrics and measurement systems
