JOB DETAILS:
Title: Oil and Gas Accounting Operations Admin
Classification: Full-time; Exempt
Department: Mineral Management
Location: Houston
Office Expectations/Hours: Fully in-office position; general work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day between 8am to 5pm with overtime, as needed.

What Will You Do?

  • Maintain and update client ownership records and related data
  • Coordinate with operators, vendors, and third-party partners to obtain required documentation and verify ownership-related details
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain files and documentation related to client accounts and ownership interests
  • Communicate professionally with clients, landmen, attorneys, and purchasers to request information, provide updates, and ensure timely responses
  • Maintain trackers, spreadsheets, and logs to monitor workflows, deadlines, and outstanding issues
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and general administrative support for the team as needed

What Do You Need to Get Here?

  • 1-5 Years of Oil and Gas accounting operations experience
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities readily
  • Ability to follow processes, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure attention to detail
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Aptitude to effectively learn company specific accounting and operations systems
