Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Tech Lead to lead solution architecture, technical planning, development delivery, testing, deployment, and client-facing project execution within an IT implementation and service provider environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, defining technical approaches, managing development teams, ensuring quality delivery, and supporting end-to-end project implementation. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience in managing medium-scale technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Planning

• Understand client requirements, business domain, and project scope to define suitable technical solutions.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical approach, and implementation strategy.
• Identify project dependencies, risks, technical challenges, and potential roadblocks.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, task scheduling, and delivery timelines.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions and provide technical inputs to support business opportunities.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

• Lead detailed requirement gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and review business requirement documents, technical specifications, and solution documents.
• Establish technical standards, naming conventions, coding practices, and implementation best practices.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with business and technical requirements.

Development Leadership & Team Management

• Guide and manage the development team to achieve project milestones and delivery targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of development work.
• Review development outputs and ensure alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure development tasks are completed with required quality, performance, and reliability standards.

Testing, Quality Assurance & Performance Management

• Define testing strategies, including Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Performance Testing.
• Prepare and review test cases, UAT documentation, and issue tracking processes.
• Oversee unit testing, issue resolution, quality assurance activities, and defect closure.
• Lead performance testing activities and support the resolution of system performance issues.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing and ensure all identified issues are properly addressed before go-live.

Candidate Profile

• BSc or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in data analytics, software implementation, IT solutions, or related technology projects.
• Strong experience in leadership roles within technical or data analytics project environments.
• At least one advanced and related certification in data analytics or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience playing the Tech Lead role in multiple medium-scale projects.
• Experience managing technical teams and guiding development delivery in medium-scale projects.
• Experience handling customers end-to-end throughout project implementation.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, technical documentation, testing strategies, deployment, and implementation best practices.
• Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.
