Responsibilities:

  • Business ownership: You drive revenue, margin and sustainable growth of the Polyurethane business across the DACH region.

  • Sales strategy: You develop and execute the regional sales strategy in line with the European growth plan and expand the sales territory.

  • Team leadership: You lead, coach and develop the regional sales team and guide distributors and agents to achieve commercial targets.

  • Key account management: You build and expand strategic customer relationships and negotiate with decision-makers and senior management.

  • Customer engagement: You maintain a strong market presence through regular customer visits, hands-on support during product trials and close technical collaboration.

  • Market development: You identify new market opportunities, secure product approvals and establish long-term supplier positions with key customers.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with Technology, Laboratory, Marketing and Operations to ensure a competitive and future-oriented product portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Industry experience: Several years of proven experience in technical sales within the Polyurethane industry.

  • Leadership experience: Ideally, you have initial experience leading and developing sales teams, preferably in an international or matrix organization.

  • Commercial mindset: Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute sales plans and deliver measurable results.

  • Key account expertise: Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing complex customer relationships at senior level.

  • Channel management: Experience managing and developing distributor and agent networks.

  • Business acumen: Solid understanding of margin management, budgeting and performance indicators.

  • Languages and mobility: Fluent German and English skills and willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region.
