Field Excellence Project Manager, Radiology
The Field Excellence Project Manager advances national and regional business priorities by leading strategic programs, strengthening field execution, and improving organizational effectiveness. This role partners across Customer Engagement, particularly Area General Managers (AGMs) to translate strategy into scalable operating models, performance frameworks, actionable insights, and disciplined execution. The role serves as a critical connector across field teams and enabling functions to improve decision quality, simplify operations, and drive sustainable business impact.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Field Excellence Project Manager, Radiology, are to:
Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of strategic field excellence initiatives that support commercial priorities, organizational readiness, and scalable growth.
- Ensure project plans, milestones, governance, and stakeholder alignment are in place to drive timely execution and measurable outcomes.
- Project Management activities to operationalize national Customer Engagement strategies and go-to-market approaches, ensuring alignment with AGMs.
Field Enablement & Excellence
- Establish and evolve scalable operating models, tools, and support mechanisms that improve field execution and enable consistent ways of working.
- Partner with field leaders to strengthen sales process adoption, territory and account planning, learning and development initiatives, and use of performance dashboards.
- Support activation of Customer Engagement strategies through KPI tracking, execution insights, and ongoing identification of opportunities to improve field effectiveness.
Performance, Analytics & Accountability
- Develop and maintain performance frameworks, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that help AGMs assess progress, identify risks, and act decisively.
- Translate business signals, field feedback, and operational data into actionable recommendations that improve execution, forecast confidence, coaching quality, and business performance.
- Partner with Finance, HR, Business Intelligence, and field leadership to support KPI development, incentive effectiveness, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
- AGM & Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as a trusted partner to AGMs by providing structured support for business reviews, decision-making, operating cadence, and leadership alignment.
- Connect field needs with enterprise capabilities to ensure systems, processes, and insights are practical, relevant, and impactful.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required in Management, Business, Healthcare, or a related field;
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and translate business strategy into structured execution plans;
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills;
- Strategic mindset with the ability to understand interdependencies across teams, systems, and business priorities;
- Ability to synthesize complex inputs into simple processes, actionable insights, and practical recommendations;
- Strong communication skills, with a knack for being able to take a complex detail and create a framework for easy to digest/actionable content;
- Sound business and financial acumen, with a drive to work in short sprint timelines;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality where appropriate;
- Ability to travel as needed, particularly to Indianola, PA Corporate Radiology HQ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years preferred of relevant experience in project management, commercial excellence, sales enablement, field operations, or related roles;
- Experience with CRM, reporting, and analytics tools preferred.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $96,400 to $144,700. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
