Description

To reinvent an industry, you have to build the best team. Join Formlabs if you want to bring ground-breaking professional 3D printers to the desktop of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist in the world. Our mission is to build the tools that make it possible for anyone to bring their ideas to life, and our People team plays a big part in enabling us as a company to achieve our mission!

The HR / People Operations Generalist is a critical, dynamic role in the People Org in Budapest at Formlabs that touches everything from employee relations to benefits, to employee life cycle changes and more. We’re looking for someone who loves solving problems, assessing their impact on the organization, and digging in to deeply understand their work. This person will directly transform the way that HR supports employees and the goals of the business, ensuring that transactions are managed effectively and efficiently and that processes are both scalable and meet the needs of employees.

The position is best suited for someone who is comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with joining a growing and scaling team. The role will require experience with technology and commitment to interacting with core systems in a way that ensures that the employee experience is excellent, the needs of the business are well-supported, and the data is accurate. The People Ops Generalist will be cross-trained in all areas of People Operations at Formlabs, across the entirety of the employee life cycle. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to have a real tangible impact on the way work happens.

The Job:

  • Manage the areas core to the People Operations team: Onboarding, Offboarding, Benefits, Immigration, Leaves, Accommodations, Employee Relations, etc
  • Liaise with Payroll as needed to support the timely and accurate processing of payroll
  • Respond to employee tickets promptly and accurately when they ask questions about their employment, pay, experience, or changes they need to make to their personal information
  • Effectively navigate many different HR technologies and systems, sharing ideas for improvement whenever possible
  • Manage processes through a global lens, partnering with EMEA to avoid redundancies, share learnings, and align processes wherever it makes sense
  • Keep efficiency and ways to leverage technology top of mind in the work they do
  • Supporting the People Team broadly as needed, potentially supporting initiatives, events, and other ad hoc needs

You:

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulation in core areas of HR and labour law, including communication with various government agencies/departments
  • Experience with building/updating policies and processes that effectively support and protect our employees and the business
  • Experience at a (preferably US based) fast-paced environment
  • Experience working and communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with immigration processes
  • Fluency in English

We Offer:

  • Hybrid work
  • Catered lunch at the office 3 days per week
  • Private health insurance with Medicare (Blue package + hospital coverage)
  • A monthly or quarterly public transportation pass for Budapest
  • Shares in the company (we're a double unicorn company!)
  • Free beverages and snacks at the office
  • All You Can Move sports pass with 9500 HUF monthly allowance
  • Free 3D prints
  • An inclusive, dog-friendly office with diverse and inspiring colleagues
  • Development opportunities both in-house and off-site
  • Fun team events

We build amazing things. Come join us!

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Even if you don't check every box, but see yourself contributing, please apply. Help us build an inclusive community that will change the face of 3D printing.
