Job Title: Cost Accountant

Job Summary
The Cost Accountant will support the finance function by providing accurate
cost analysis, budgeting, reporting, and inventory valuation. This role ensures the integrity of cost-related financial data and supports operational and strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update standard costing models and cost allocation processes.
* Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
* Conduct inventory costing and reconciliation, including WIP.
* Prepare landed cost calculations for imported materials.
* Analyze production costs, waste, and efficiency metrics.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
* Support financial statement preparation in line with IFRS.
* Support close processes related to cost accruals and adjustments.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits.
* Perform Ad-hoc tasks as delegated.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage.
* 3–5 years experience with minimum 2 years in cost accounting.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS
* Proficiency in ERP systems
*Advanced Excel skills.
* Manufacturing Industry experience is an added advantage.
