Position Summary
The Cluster Marketing Manager is as a key member of the Cluster Team responsible for developing and implementing a successful business and marketing strategy for the main go to market routes in the countries they are supporting. The Cluster Marketing manager plans, organizes and executes programs – while supporting channel partners – that create relevant two-way interactions with indirect local buyers and customers to inform and influence their buying decisions and broader relationship with the supplier.
The role holder has to work closely with the local in country Area Manager and Partners’ Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to deliver the set business objectives. As well the Cluster Marketing Manager is expected to collaborate on all levels with the EMEA marketing team to ensure efficiency and continuity in the Kodak Alaris go to market strategy to be the partner of choice. They will have to support, drive, coordinate, and set direction or initiate activities/local programs in line with the Cluster objectives and/or the Marketing plan. She or he will be accountable to monitor market changes and adjust channel marketing strategies accordingly to remain competitive within the changing market.
Countries to manage are spanning the META region, Iberia and Italy, India Region, South East Asia and Japan, with a focus on emerging markets in this region.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing planning & Execution
- Align with the cluster and areas GoToMarket strategy to derive an effective marketing strategy.
- Create a regional holistic marketing strategy (inclusive of programs, campaigns, events, etc..) that help deliver our value proposition to the targeted markets and regions and by that assist area managers and partners to achieve their targets in terms of leads generation, channel expansion, market penetration & overall revenue.
- Create Channel expansion & recruitment campaigns / events / activities targeted to attract and recruit new channels.
- Create regional campaigns and programs to be communicated and delivered either in a direct way or via partner (with their localization)
- Support EMEA Marketing team in all product launch / updates activities to deliver the same communication, knowledge and training to our partners and end customers and create more awareness and engagement (leads generation)
- Manage the cluster overall marketing budget in terms of partners marketing development fund (allocation, spending, reporting & ROI) and advertisement budget.
- Ideate, plan and execute Kodak Alaris yearly cornerstone communication events: Kick-off-Meeting and Partner Conference
- Drive consistent internal communication with the Sales Structure to share updates and marketing insights.
- Engage consistently with top management to report on strategy execution, objectives updates and ROIs.
- Engage proactively with global and regional marketing teams to review plans, share local requirements and provide feedback.
- Manage contracted Marketing Agencies to deliver on their scope within the agreed budget and timeline.
- Directly or through agencies, create content assets to serve our overall or objective specific campaigns, create awareness and engagement within our targeted audience (channel or end customer)
- Actively seek and create local joint customer success stories to demonstrate best practices and strong partner relationships.
Channel Marketing, Enablement & Development :
- Support Area Managers’ efforts to identify new potential partners and distributors & recruit the ones that match the GTM requirements.
- Derive from the main marketing strategy “ready to deliver” campaigns (campaign in a box) to be executed, localized and reported by local partners (Campaign store concept)
- Manage, administer, measure and report on local MDF budget, to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review, refine, approve and realign (with the Area Manager GTM plan) local / channel level marketing campaigns, initiatives and events for best outcome in terms of leads generation and conversion.
- Promote the adoption of lead management processes with local partners and establish and track lead generation metrics with local partners.
- Promote the adoption of Kodak Alaris CRM for campaign management, leads tracking and conversion to sales opportunities.
- Drive, own and track local promotions, incentives towards your channel partners.
- Measure, analyze and report on key local channel marketing pipeline-building activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and evaluate marketing effectiveness/ROI.
In-country channel activity:
- Understand local partner requirements for program localization and local execution support.
- Train partners on the created “campaign in a box” so they can localize it for local deployment & reporting.
- Drive, own and track local promotions, incentives towards your channel partners.
Other Cluster activity:
- Manage the PR relationship in Dubai via the incumbent agency.
- Manage the Experience (demo) Center in Dubai in terms of increasing partner and end-user presence at the center.
- Create thought leadership and Employee social media content to be shared for more audience engagement and brand exposure
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Marketing & Sales, or equivalent degree or experience.
- Five or more years in B2B Marketing, marketing experience and a strong understanding of indirect b-to-b channels and supporting partners in relevant markets
- Proven experience working successfully with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
- Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
- Ability to track, report and adjust ongoing activities. Share and present results to the management
Skills & Competencies
- Must be self-starter, highly motivated, creative and organized, able to work at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, presentation and project management skills required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and able to host conference, seminars or any other marketing activities.
- Must be Fluent in English, French and Arabic (Written and spoken language). Any additional language is a plus
- Proven track record in developing and administering Channel/partner marketing programs.
- Expected to formulate and draft marketing budget with the justified return on investment.
- Experience in channel marketing management and strategic planning experience.
- Preferred experience with Kodak Alaris products, services and software or similar industry standards.
- Expected to have excellent MS office skills, and preferably but not essential to have user level knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Applications.
- Willing to travel within the Cluster countries.
- Leadership and initiative to drive business objectives
- Ability to understand decision impact on other areas of the business
- Strong consultative marketing approach in order to effectively engage with sales and channel partner community
- Active listening skills – flexible to adjust on mindsets
- Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including the sales organization, EMEA marketing team and finance.
