Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

•Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Cloud Computing is a plus.

Work experience

•0–1 year of hands‑on experience in any of the technologies: SIEM, EDR, DLP, CASB

•Fundamental understanding of Cloud and the different suites available: Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (formerly MCAS) and Netskope Security Cloud / CASB, DLP, threat protection.

•Working knowledge of SOC, IT Security, IAM, and Cloud Engineering teams.

•Familiarity with API-based integrations, log analysis, and SaaS application security.

Basic Requirements

§Educational Qualification: Pursuing or completed B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

§Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

§Cybersecurity Knowledge: Any prior training, certification, or coursework in cybersecurity (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) is a plus.

§Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic networking concepts, operating systems, and security tools is desirable.

§Attitude: Willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

§Assist the cybersecurity team in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity.

§Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.

§Collaborate on cybersecurity awareness and training programs.

§Participate in incident response and investigation processes.

§Assist with the documentation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and protocols.

§Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.

§Provide support in the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)

•Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection

•Exposure to cybersecurity labs or simulations
