We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity in full-time (38.5 h/week)!
Your new job includes
In this role, you will report directly to our CCO and take on a central steering function within the Commercial division. Acting as a sparring partner at C-level, you structure complex, cross-functional topics and create the foundation for well-informed decision-making.
You orchestrate AI- and data-driven initiatives in the commercial environment, prioritize key topics, and ensure that strategic initiatives are translated into concrete, impactful actions. At the same time, you act as a link to the leadership team, maintain a strong understanding of key challenges within the function, and drive major projects forward in a structured way.
In particular, you will
- develop and further drive strategic initiatives within the Commercial function, with a focus on growth, efficiency, and scalability
- design and implement projects such as the strategy and further development of Domestic Distribution
- analyze efficiency potentials across the entire CCO area and identify and implement concrete commercial levers (e.g. pricing, category management, supply chain)
- structure, prioritize, and drive cross-functional transformation initiatives within the CCO area through to execution
- incorporate external impulses and best practices (e.g. benchmarking, market analyses), make them accessible internally, and translate them into concrete actions
- further develop new ways of working and decision-making logic within the Commercial function
- identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and analytics use cases in the commercial context
- co-develop a data-driven roadmap for the Commercial function and steer its implementation
- support pilot projects (PoCs) and transform them into scalable solutions
- act as an interface between business and Data/AI units, ensuring that initiatives deliver tangible business impact
Preferred Profile
- Several years of experience in a strategic, transformation-oriented, or commercial role (e.g. Commercial Development, Corporate Strategy, Inhouse Consulting, or management consulting)
- Proven experience in structuring, prioritizing, and executing initiatives in a complex business environment
- Strong understanding of commercial drivers (e.g. pricing, category management, sales, supply chain, or comparable levers)
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to clearly structure complex topics and translate them into actionable solutions
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, combined with confident communication and facilitation skills
- Solid understanding of data, analytics, and AI topics from a business perspective, particularly in identifying, evaluating, and implementing data-driven use cases with clear business impact
- Understanding of the end-to-end development of use cases, from hypothesis through PoC and piloting to scaling into operations
- Ability to act as a translator between business, tech, and management, aligning different perspectives into a clear and actionable approach
- High level of ownership, a hands-on mentality, and a strong drive to actively shape and advance topics
