JOB SUMMARY
The Program Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership and program management of designated service line at sites where the service exists. Remains current on all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation associated with service line and makes recommendations for policy and procedure changes to clinical leadership. Provides mentoring and training to staff within the program to ensure consistency within service delivery at all sites. Provides direct services as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exemplifies and promotes the principles of Service Excellence in all actions and activities.
- Applies principles of process improvement model to improve access to care and care coordination.
- Conducts chart reviews to ensure that staff are documenting according to program standards and according to policy.
- Provides staff education and training as needed to ensure quality of care and consistency in practice.
- Collaborates with agency managers and directors in the care delivered to consumers to ensure seamless, effective service delivery.
- Provides individual, family, and group therapy according to consumer needs.
- Assists with marketing efforts to promote program.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision as needed to ensure program fidelity.
- Ensures all necessary reporting is submitted accurately and timely.
- Maintains a current working knowledge of center policies and procedures, licensure regulations, CARF Standards, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies governing Prestera's service delivery.
- Writes professional, quality reports and correspondence.
- Attends all departmental and center meetings/trainings as assigned.
- Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
- Participates in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Indirectly supervises staff that work in program/service line.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in program/service line.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Travel required to other Prestera sites.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to learn, navigate, and work with data to track outcomes, trends, and performance indicators.
- Ability to address crisis situations to prevent a need for higher intervention.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work with deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in human services field. Licensure or certification preferred.
- Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
- Maintains current crisis prevention/intervention training.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Programs under supervision score an average minimum of 92% on customer satisfaction indicators would recommend.
- Programs under supervision score an average of 90% on regulatory reviews.
- Completes 100% of record reviews on monthly basis.
- Provides or provides for program specific training quarterly at minimum.
