Description
Apply a consultative sales approach, identifying and validating customer needs through research and direct engagement, and co-developing tailored solutions and implementation plans. Use Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities, ensuring alignment with validated customer needs and stakeholder priorities. Conduct CVP-based white space analysis to identify revenue gaps and growth opportunities across customers and sectors, and develop plans to capture these opportunities. Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline by developing key accounts and targeting high-growth industries. Identify and engage new customers through research, networking, and industry events, promoting the full Watson-Marlow portfolio. Act as a trusted partner to customers by providing technical expertise, resolving challenges, and offering proactive performance improvements. Manage sales leads and enquiries, delivering tailored quotations and ensuring timely follow-up. Allocate workload effectively across EMEA support functions to maximise time spent on high-value commercial activities. Conduct product demonstrations (on-site and virtual) and represent Watson-Marlow at exhibitions and events. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, sharing insights with global colleagues. Use CRM systems to manage opportunities, track progress, and deliver accurate forecasts. Champion the Total Customer Solutions approach and embody our core values of safety, collaboration, customer focus, excellence, and respect.
