Description
Responsibility Areas including preferred Skills and Experience
- Assist with checking eligibility status for federal FMLA requests by reviewing historical/current leave information, years of service and hours eligibility.
- Verify the employee’s leave status in the benefits administration system.
- Verify the employee’s years of service and hours worked for eligibility applicableness.
- Review medical certifications to determine eligibility and entitlement.
- Collaborate and work closely with the LOA teams
- Track and record all employee requests and individual leaves in a secure manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Sound knowledge in HR Outsourced operations - HR shared services/HRO/H2R concepts/HR Backend from outsourced industries
- Ability to analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work plan
- Ability to analyze data and trends to improve leave policies and processes
- Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
- Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to multi-task and drive multiple projects
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written to be able to effectively explain policies and procedures to employees and management
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information
- Demonstrated problem-solving, time management, and priority-setting skills
- Attention to detail by being meticulous in managing records and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements

Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate with overall 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proven experience in a shared service or third-party support Industry preferred
- Worked on HRMS applications – Peoplesoft, SAP SuccessFactors or Workday
