Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading telecommunications service provider and one of the largest mobile network operators in the country, is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to drive their Platform Services forward!

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in evolving the Platform Services to meet market needs, ensuring platform stability and delivering best-in-class quality of service and support to all developers and enterprises utilizing these offerings.

The Job:

• Develop automation scripts and configurations for 24x7x365 platform availability.
• Install and configure hardware, peripherals, services, and storage per operational requirements.
• Maintain Data centre Services infrastructure, simplifying it through industry best practices.
• Manage Jenkins jobs for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Oversee AWS infrastructure management, including EC2, Route 53, and S3.
• Design reusable components and operational strategies in the cloud for scalability and performance.
• Document installation, provisioning, and security procedures for business continuity.
• Optimize AWS resource usage for cost efficiency and profitability.
• Analyze application, system, and network issues, providing timely solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot production issues.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for real-time decision-making and reporting.

The Person:

• BSc in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an infrastructure/integration/production/DevOps engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (at least 2 years).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing scripts in Bash; experience in programming languages (C, Java, Python, or Perl) is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is essential; 6+ years of overall experience preferred.
