Description
As a Quality Engineer II here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of quality control / assurance activities and the delivery of high-quality products, frequently interact with customers, defining expectations and ensure offering required support to all customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring that all products meet or exceed industry standards. You will report directly to our Sr Quality Control Manager, and you’ll work out of our Spokane, WA location.
In this role, you will impact the overall quality and reliability of our products, ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Analyze data and implement corrective actions to improve product quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes
- Interact with customers resolving quality and reliability concerns / feedback.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering.
- 1-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
- Stronge knowledge of data analysis and SPC techniques.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
WE VALUE
- Advanced Engineering degrees like Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering are desired
- Experience with quality management systems and processes
- Six Sigma Green belt is preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage.
- Experience with SQL is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Metal casting, Powder casting, or Thermal Mechanical Process is an advantage

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $80k-$97k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
