You’ll play a key part in shaping the future of digital services and contributing to impactful projects that make a difference to NSW customers. Key accountabilities Be a hands-on developer while supporting team members and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the business needs and adhere to coding and design standards. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation, such as system architecture, codebase, and best practices. Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts. Have excellent communication skills and be able to manage customer expectations Skills and experience required: Experienced in integrating RESTful APIs with Axios, including handling authentication and error states. Strong testing skills with JUnit and effective mocking strategies. Experience in JBoss Seam Framework. Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS (S3, Airflow, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS). Understanding of serverless components and pattern in AWS Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, SVN). Strong experience in Python. Experience with ETL process and event driven data CDC. Experience with PL/SQL. Hands on expertise with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. Expertise in micro service and Java design patterns. Hands on web front-end experience with React and unit testing libraries. Proficiency in cloud-native development practices including serverless computing, containers, and Kubernetes orchestration. Expertise in relational databases RDBMS, Oracle DB and NoSQL databases. Expert experience developing within agile methodology using CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab or Bamboo). Strong documentation skills using Confluence and JIRA.
