The Gas Power Service Senior Project Manager will manage complex aftermarket projects involving upgrades on one or more of the following: Industrial Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines, Aero-derivative Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and/or balance-of-plant equipment.Job Description
What you’ll do
Serve as the main customer contact during project execution and drive resolution of customer issues.
Lead the end-to-end execution of service projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, logistics, and field execution.
Define and implement the project execution strategy to ensure successful delivery.
Manage project schedule, financials, margin, risks, and change management.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure contractual deliverables and performance guarantees are met.
Maintain project documentation and management systems while providing regular project status updates and reviews.
Identify and mitigate project risks and capture lessons learned and best practices.
Support the tendering and ITO phase by contributing execution expertise and project insights.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
Proven experience in project management within the power generation or energy sector.
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract management.
Experience working with gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSG, aero-derivatives, or related power plant equipment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
PMP certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
