Title: Sr. Systems Engineer – Traffic Modeling (Missile Tracking)

Overview

Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a leading federal defense contractor on the US Space Force SDA GMI program. This role focuses on traffic data modeling, satellite-ground communications, and missile tracking systems within PWSA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop traffic/data flow models for satellite-to-ground systems
• Support missile tracking & satellite scheduling
• Analyze data to validate system performance
• Assist with system integration, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance & US Citizenship (required)
• Bachelor's + 8 yrs or Master's + 6 yrs experience
• 15+ yrs in communication data modeling
• 10+ yrs in satellite RF communication / traffic modeling
• Experience with MBSE tools (CAMEO/MagicDraw)
• Skills in Java, Python, or MATLAB

Nice to Have

• Missile tracking / sensor fusion experience
• Satellite scheduling & cloud exposure
• Image/data processing background
