Overview
Join a high-impact engineering team focused on designing and developing heavy-duty vehicle systems and components. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle—from concept and analysis to production support—while contributing to both new and existing vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop functional, reliable, and cost-effective vehicle components and systems
Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and design validation activities
Support integration and execution of component and system designs into vehicle platforms
Create and review technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs)
Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams
Analyze and resolve engineering issues; communicate status clearly to stakeholders
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations
Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records
Mentor junior engineers, designers, or technicians as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years of relevant engineering experience
Preferred / Standout Experience:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle systems
Proficiency in CAD tools such as PTC Creo and Windchill
Strong analytical skills with experience in system modeling and performance optimization
