The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Project Manager (Fulfillment) to support our Cicero, IL facility. In this role, you will oversee all projects and ensure that all required materials and products are being delivered to meet the overall timeline that has been established with the client. Works effectively through the channels of Inventory, Production, Quality, Shipping and Receiving. Ensuring that any challenges that are being raised are being addressed directly to the client in charge.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:

• Assist in creating timelines once project has been quoted, program has been granted and a production estimate is given.
• Maintains and updates the Project Tracker report, ensuring that all the timelines are being met and raises the flag when disruptions occur.
• Participates in all turnover meetings and kick off calls with the client.
• Has direct contact with all Project Managers and Customer Service Representative, ensuring that the line of communication receives immediate responses and resolutions.
• Participates in daily operations and Production meetings on status of projects, provides detail on timing, and any other updates. Meeting will also provide upcoming projects that will be shared with the team to assist with preplanning.
• Reviews and forwards BOM/Spec, Assembly Instructions, Planograms, etc. to the respective internal areas in a timely manner ensuring that each area can review with any questions prior in starting production.
• Documents and communicates issues for a specific project and works directly with Project Manager or Customer Service Representative to get immediate resolution.
• Oversees and maintains program reports, updating until the completion of the project. Includes customer portals/dashboards.
• Assist in communicating any out of scopes to client with a quote and ensures a PO is collected.
• Follows up when a project is completed in a post-mortem on large projects for future reference when jobs may be repeated.
• Provides back-up & training to other Project Managers as needed. Including system training like (Acumatica / Savant / HMRS / Bayview / Smartsheet / Etc.)
• Other duties assigned by manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED; plus, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
