POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Operations & Support Manager is responsible for preparing pricing and margin analysis for quotes that deviate from outlined policies. Ensures proper adherence and tracking of quote approval for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The Sales Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally with other pricing analysts and business partners in analyzing, processing, and documenting Deviation of Policy quotes.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes in-depth Deviation of Policy (DOP) pricing analysis to drive profitability and win deals; reports deal level results to executive leadership.
  • Creates pricing strategies to improve margin and revenue for the business.
  • Works cross-functionally with business partners to validate deal economics and implement recommended changes.
  • Develop analytical tools and models to identify pricing trends and areas to improve quote pricing.
  • Acts as a trusted price advisor for the Vertiv offering & sales teams.
  • Optimizes daily pricing processes to streamline operations and deal approvals.
  • Ensures that all quotes adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product Offering, Order Management, VP of Sales Operations, Director of Services and the Executive Leadership Team to align discount strategies with overall business objectives and ensure effective execution.
  • Optimize pricing models, discount strategies, and promotional pricing to maximize revenue and margin while balancing customer value and competitive positioning.
  • Acts as a contingency for the next-tier equivalent or similar function to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborates and engages with team members to finalize assigned projects and programs.
  • Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a preferred focus in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Analytics, Pricing, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficient with the Office 365 platform; strong Excel proficiency preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis and validation
  • Detail oriented; strategic problem solver
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
