We are seeking a reliable and proactive **Local Support Assistant** in Yokohama, Japan to provide essential on-site operational support at our local office. This is **not a full-time or part-time employee position.**

* This is a **freelance, on-demand engagement**.
* Work is **sporadic and scheduled in advance** based on operational needs (e.g., specific days for shipments, inventory checks).
* There are **no fixed or guaranteed weekly hours**.
* You will be contacted for specific tasks or interventions as they arise, typically during standard Monday-Friday business hours in Yokohama, Japan
## Tasks
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Shipment Coordination & Inventory Management:** Manage all office logistics by coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers like DHL/FedEx and performing regular inventory checks to maintain accurate digital records of equipment and supplies.
* **On-Site Troubleshooting & Support:** Act as the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting, diagnosing hardware/software issues, and liaising with vendors to resolve infrastructure or logistical roadblocks.
## Requirements
**You Are a Great Fit If You:**
* Have **excellent availability and flexibility** for sporadic, pre-scheduled assignments.
* Are **highly detail-oriented** and proactive in managing tasks from start to finish.
